The Pfizer plant in Puurs, Belgium is the largest Aseptic or sterile production facility in the world, meaning all products are produced in a truly sterile environment. Pharmaceuticals produced in Puuris include eye-drops in blow-filled sealed bottles, filled vials, filled syringes, and filled ampules which are exported to over 170 countries world-wide.
