KATHMANDU, NEPAL - In Kathmandu's Dubar Square, a young girl lights mustard oil lamps on the eve of Tihar, the Festival of Lights, which is celebrated for five days in the fall. Tihar is a time when brothers and sisters pay respect to one another. The women serve an elaborate meal to the men, while the men return the gesture by giving a gift, usually money.
