BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - MAY-13-2010 - Brussels is famed for chocolate and you can't go a block in the historic center without encountering a confectioner or two. Pass them up in favor of the new La Maison des Maitres Chocolatiers (Grand Place 4; 32-2-888-66-20; mmcb.be) in the central square Grand Place. The collective gives 10 master Belgian chocolate makers the celebrity chef treatment, showcasing their varied styles ranging from Laurent Gerbaud who rustically studs chocolate with whole pistachios and red berries, to the elegant Jean-Philippe Darcis featuring his name printed in pink on square almond-hazelnut pralines.
